About Me
About Me

Mia is a fourth generation rancher from central Montana. Born and bred to be a part of the rural west, she is an accomplished painter, sculptor, and writer of the culture, animals, people, and the humor that is unique to western living. Her paintings have won many awards including People’s and Juror’s Choice and her writing has been featured in Crazy Woman Creek, a three part anthology of western women. In 1997, she left the family ranch to buy her own small ranch. Mia met and married her mechanic husband, Bob, in 2004 and together they ran cows and horses along with sheep. A tragic accident in 2009 caused the untimely death of her Husband and the ranch came to a standstill. Mia has since leased out the ranch to pursue her passion for art and life full time .
The Studio:  The Paragon Place is located 10 miles north of Melville, Montana near the very picturesque Crazy Mountains.  This is in itself a work of art as well as a work in progress.  We love to show it off and the coffee’s always on.
